Sign In / Sign Up
How do I create a sohealthful account?
You can create an account using your email address, Apple ID, or Google account. If you sign up with an email, you’ll receive a one-time passcode (OTP) sent to your inbox. Enter this code in the app to verify your account before you begin adding your health information.
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
Select Forgot Password on the sign-in screen and enter your registered email address. You will receive a one-time passcode (OTP) by email. Enter the code to verify your identity, then follow the steps to set a new password. For your security, sohealthful never stores your password in plain text.
Can I sign in with Apple or Google?
Yes. You can sign in quickly and securely using Apple ID or your Google account. These methods use your existing authentication, and sohealthful never receives your account password.
Can I use Face ID or Touch ID to sign in?
Yes. If your device supports biometrics, you can enable Face ID or Touch ID for faster and secure access. To turn this on, go to Settings by tapping your profile icon or photo, then switch on Enable Biometric Login. Your biometric data always stays on your device and is never stored by sohealthful.
Is my information safe when I sign in?
Yes. sohealthful uses encrypted connections and secure authentication to protect your data whenever you log in or out.
Why am I asked to verify my email?
Email verification confirms you own the account and helps keep your health information linked to the correct person.
Home Screen & Health Snapshot Message
What does the Health Snapshot Message show?
In the first release of sohealthful, the Health Snapshot Message displays a rotating selection of helpful messages and product tips. You will not yet see personalised insights based on your data. Future updates will use the information you add, such as medications, allergies, and vaccinations, to generate meaningful insights and reminders tailored to you.
How often does my Health Snapshot update?
Snapshot messages rotate automatically. When personalised insights launch, they will refresh as your information changes.
Can I customise what appears on my home screen?
Not yet. Customisation options are planned for a future release.
What do the greyed-out modules mean?
They are upcoming features, including Vitals and Wearables, Family History, Connected Profiles, and Emergency Access. These will be activated in future versions of the app, and some may require a subscription to access.
Profile
What information can I add to my profile?
You can record your name, date of birth, sex at birth, contact information, blood type, ethnicity, preferred language, and an emergency contact. These details help build a more complete profile and will support future personalised insights and features tailored to you.
How do I update my personal details?
Tap your profile icon or photo at the top of the home screen to open Settings. Select the pen icon next to your profile to edit your details, then save your changes.
Who can see the information in my profile?
Only you can view or edit your profile unless you choose to share information in future Connected Profiles. sohealthful does not share your data without consent.
What happens if I delete my profile?
Deleting your profile removes all information stored in your account. This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
How is my profile information protected?
Your details are encrypted and stored securely on cloud servers that follow international privacy and security standards.
Settings
How do I change my app language or notification settings?
The app is currently available in English. Additional languages will be added in future releases. To manage your notifications, open Settings from your profile icon and adjust your preferences. Changes save automatically.
How can I manage my privacy preferences?
Settings provides access to the Privacy Policy and controls for future data sharing features. You can also contact support if you have privacy questions.
Where can I find the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions?
Go to Settings, then scroll to ‘About’ sohealthful, to view the Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions. They are also available at http://www.sohealthful.com/privacy.
How do I report a technical issue?
Email support@sohealthful.com with a short description, your device model, and app version. Please do not include personal health information in emails.
How can I log out securely?
You can select Log Out from Settings at any time to end your session immediately. For your security, sohealthful also has an automatic logout after 5 minutes of inactivity to help keep your information safe.
Medications
How do I add a new medication?
From the home screen, tap the Medications tile, then select Add Medication at the bottom of the screen. You can start typing the name of your medication and choose from the list or add it manually if it does not appear.
Can I record both prescription and over the counter medications?
Yes. You can record prescriptions, over the counter items, vitamins, and supplements for your personal tracking.
How do I edit or remove a medication?
Open the medication entry and select Edit or Delete, then confirm your changes. Deleting a medication will permanently remove the entry. If you would like to keep the details in your medication history, you can mark the medication as inactive instead. To do this, tap the toggle on the Medication list screen next to Active. Turning it off will move the medication to the bottom of your list and mark the entry as inactive.
Can I link my medications to a condition or schedule?
Yes. You can link a medication to a recorded health condition and add reminder times in My Schedule.
Can sohealthful remind me to take my medication?
Yes. Once a medication is saved, you can add a reminder through My Schedule. When adding or editing a medication, select My Schedule in the “Link To” section to open the reminder popup. Enter your preferred days, time, and turn notifications on, then confirm and save. To receive reminders, make sure Enable Push Notifications is switched on in Settings.
Health Conditions
What is the Health Conditions module used for?
The Health Conditions module helps you record ongoing or past health conditions and keep related information together for easy reference. You can also link a condition to medications, documents in the Records Room, Health Contacts, and Allergies for a more complete view of your health.
Can I add multiple health conditions?
Yes. You can add as many conditions as needed. Each condition can include details such as date first noted, severity, symptoms, and linked items.
How do I update or delete a health condition?
Open the health condition and select Edit or Delete, then confirm your changes. You can also change the status to Inactive, Resolved, or In Remission to keep the record in your history without removing it.
Can I upload medical documents related to a condition?
Yes. You can link documents stored in your Records Room so all related information is easy to access when needed.
Who can access my health condition information?
Only you can view the health conditions you record. sohealthful does not share this information with anyone else. In future releases, you will be able to share part or all of your health condition details securely with an approved person, such as a family member or healthcare provider.
Allergies
How do I record an allergy in sohealthful?
From the home screen, tap the Allergies tile, then select Add Allergy at the bottom of the screen. Start typing the name of your allergy or intolerance and choose from the list or enter it manually. Add any additional details such as severity, reaction, or notes before saving.
Can I include details such as symptoms or severity?
Yes. You can record the severity level as mild, moderate, or severe, and add one or more reactions from the list or by entering them manually.
Where can I see my allergy information once it is added?
Your allergies will appear in the Allergies list view on the home screen. Each entry displays the allergen name, reaction summary, and severity tag for quick reference.
How does allergy information appear in Emergency Access?
Emergency Access is coming soon. When available, it will allow you to make important allergy details visible to first responders in urgent situations. This feature will be included as part of a paid subscription plan to support secure sharing and data protection.
Can I edit or remove an allergy later?
Yes. Open the allergy entry, select Edit or Delete, and confirm your changes. You can also update severity or reactions at any time.
Records Room
What types of documents can I upload?
You can upload or scan PDFs, images, or notes such as test results, medical reports, hospital summaries, or referral letters. All uploaded files are stored securely in your personal Records Room.
How do I upload a new record or report?
Tap the Records Room tile from the home screen, then select Add Record. Choose to upload a file, scan a document, or take a photo. Select the document type (for example, Clinical Test Result, Medication, or Imaging and Scan) and then choose the relevant sub-type (such as Blood Test or X-Ray). Add the date and any notes before saving.
Can I preview a document before opening it?
Yes. You can use the Preview Document option to view the file and confirm it is correct before closing or editing.
How can I organise or rename my records?
Records are automatically grouped by document type and sub-type for easier navigation. You can also link records to other modules such as Health Conditions, Medications, or Health Contacts for quick reference.
Who can see my uploaded records?
Your uploaded files are private and visible only to you. In future releases, you will be able to share specific records securely with approved people through your subscription plan.
Vaccinations
How do I record a vaccination?
From the home screen, tap the Vaccinations tile and select Add Vaccination. Start typing the name of the vaccine and choose from the list, or enter it manually. Complete all required fields marked with a red asterisk (*) before saving your entry.
Can I track multiple doses or boosters?
Yes. Each vaccination entry may include more than one dose. You can record the date each dose was given and update details as needed.
How can I tell if I am due for a vaccination?
In the first release of sohealthful, you can view your recorded vaccinations. Future updates will include reminders and smart tracking based on country-specific schedules.
Can I attach a certificate or image of my vaccination record?
Yes. You can link your vaccination record to a document stored in the Records Room or upload the document first and then link it back to the vaccination entry. This allows you to keep your vaccination details and supporting documents connected for easy access.
Who can view my vaccination information?
Your vaccination records are private and visible only to you. In future releases, you will be able to share part or all of your vaccination information securely with approved people through your subscription plan.
Health Contacts and Health Team
How do I add a new Health Contact?
From the home screen, tap the Health Contacts tile and select Add Health Contact. You can enter a person’s details manually or upload them from your phone contacts with permission. Add information such as name, organisation, specialty, and contact details, then save.
How do I add a new contact to my Health Team?
You can group one or more Health Contacts into a Health Team to help manage your care. Select the Health Teams tab, choose Add Health Team, and assign existing contacts to the team.
What is the difference between a Health Contact and a Health Team?
A Health Contact is an individual, such as your GP, specialist, or therapist, who can be linked to a health condition. A Health Team is a group of Health Contacts who work together to support your care. Both can be linked to specific health conditions for better coordination.
Can I include family, friends, and healthcare providers?
Yes. You can add anyone involved in your care, including family members, carers, or medical professionals, so all important contacts are easy to find in one place.
How do I update or remove a contact?
Open the contact, select Edit or Delete, and save your changes. Updates apply immediately within sohealthful and across any linked health conditions or teams. Changes made in sohealthful will not update or edit contacts saved on your device.
Who can see my Health Contacts or Health Teams?
Your Health Contact details are private and visible only to you. In future releases, you will be able to share selected contacts or teams securely with approved people through your subscription plan.
Vitals and Wearables (Coming Soon)
What will I be able to do with Vitals and Wearables?
You will be able to connect supported devices and view vitals such as heart rate, activity, blood pressure, and glucose readings in one place. This feature is currently in development and will help you track trends and patterns in relation to your other health information.
Will I be able to connect my smartwatch, fitness tracker, or health device?
Yes. Planned integrations include major device platforms such as Apple Health, Google Fit, and compatible devices like blood pressure or glucose monitors, allowing your data to sync securely to sohealthful.
What types of data will sohealthful display?
The initial release will include activity and basic vitals such as steps, heart rate, and sleep. Supported data types will expand over time as new integrations become available.
How will my wearable data be protected?
All data transfers will use encrypted connections, and your synced information will be stored securely within your account. sohealthful does not share your device data without your consent.
When will this feature be available?
Development is underway. Keep an eye on app updates and announcements for the launch of Vitals and Wearables.
soVital (Coming Soon)
What is soVital ?
soVital is designed to be easily accessible in an emergency and will display only the critical information you choose to share. This may include key health conditions, medications, allergies, and emergency contacts. It will also support an allergy protocol if relevant to the user.
How will soVital help in a medical situation?
soVital provides a quick and secure way for responders or helpers to access important health details that may assist in your care. The information is shared in a controlled format through a secure QR code and can be viewed or retrieved by authorised emergency systems that connect to sohealthful.
Will I be able to control what information is visible?
You will control what is visible in soVital. Only the information you choose to share will appear, and it can only be accessed by scanning your secure QR code.
When will soVital be available, and will it be part of all accounts?
soVital is planned for a future release and will be available as part of a subscription plan. This supports secure access, data protection, and future integration with authorised emergency systems. Updates about availability will be shared in the app and on the sohealthful website.
Family History (Coming Soon)
What is the Family History feature for?
The Family History feature will help you record known health conditions among family members so you can keep this information with your health records.
Will I be able to record family health conditions?
Yes. You will be able to add family members and record relevant conditions where known. This helps build a clearer picture of potential health patterns that may be important for you to monitor.
Can I share or edit family history information later?
Yes. You will be able to update entries and manage sharing once the feature is released.
How will this feature help me manage my own health?
Family history provides valuable context that can help you and your healthcare professionals identify areas for prevention and early action. Over time, it will also contribute to personalised insights that support better health decisions.
When will it be available?
Family History is part of our future roadmap as part of a subscription plan. Updates about availability will be shared in the app and on the sohealthful website once development begins.
Connected Profiles (Coming Soon)
What will Connected Profiles allow me to do?
Connected Profiles will allow you to manage health information for family members, dependents, or others who have given you permission to help manage their health record. This feature provides a secure way to support the health of people you care for, all within one account.
Can I manage profiles for family members, dependents or people I care for?
Yes. Connected Profiles will support linked profiles for children, older adults, or others who have granted permission. Each profile can have different access levels depending on your role and the individual’s consent.
How will access and permissions work?
You will control who can view, edit, or manage a linked profile. Clear permissions and consent will be required before access is shared, ensuring that privacy is always protected.
What happens when a dependent reaches a certain age?
When a dependent reaches the defined age for independent management, they will be able to take over their own health record and manage their profile directly. You will no longer have access unless they choose to share it with you.
Is my information kept separate from theirs?
Yes. Each profile is distinct, and information is never mixed between users. This helps maintain privacy and accurate record keeping.
When will Connected Profiles be available?
